The Crime Of Abortion
“Elohim will call the past to account. And I saw something else under the sun: In the place of judgment – wickedness was there; in the place of justice – wickedness was there. I thought in my heart, ‘Elohim will bring to judgment both the righteous and the wicked, for there will be a time for every activity, a time for every deed.’ Again I looked and saw all the oppression that was taking place under the sun: I saw the tears of the oppressed – and they have no comforter; power was on the side of the oppressors – and they have no comforter. And I declared that the dead, who had already died, are happier than the living, who are still alive. But better than both is he who has not yet been, who has not seen the evil that is done under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 3:15b-17, 4:1-3)
On December 14 2012, Adam Lanza burst into the unprotected walls of children’s classrooms, and murdered 20 little children and several of their teachers. We call it a tragedy. It is a tragedy. We call it a crime. It is a crime..... a terrible crime.
What kind of a culture do we live in that produces people like this Adam Lanza, people who think that it is OK to make a choice to kill innocent people?
Every day in America, “professionals” burst into the unprotected walls of thousands of wombs, and murder thousands of babies. Why? Because many people are “pro-choice”. Perhaps Adam Lanza was “pro-choice” too. He just chose to kill his mother instead of the other way around, and to kill healthy flourishing 6 and 7 year olds instead of healthy flourishing babies in the womb.
“This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now, choose life, so that you and your children may live” (Deuteronomy 30:19)
Yahshua has chosen life for us and our children. “The thief cometh not but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10) Yahweh wants us all to respond to His choice for life by consciously embracing life. Deciding to end life is not really up to us. Life is held in Yahweh’s hands.... and it is He who gives life and takes away life according to His perfect plan. When people choose the downward choice, what they are choosing is death for their children and curses for themselves. “There is a way that seemeth right unto a person, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” (Proverbs 16:25) How could this benefit the individual, the family, or the nation?
“Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!” (Jeremiah 9:1)
The nation mourns the loss of 20 little lives at Sandy Hook Elementary school (and we rightly should), but then so many people continue on encouraging the loss of thousands of lives every single day, lives destroyed by the “professional” legalized assassins and terrorists. “Streams of tears flow from my eyes because my people are destroyed. My eyes will flow unceasingly, without relief, unto Yahweh looks down from heaven and sees. What I see brings grief to my soul, because of all the women of my city.” (Lamentations 3:48-51)
“How the gold has lost its luster, the fine gold has become dull! The sacred gems are scattered at the head of every street. How the precious sons of Zion, once worth their weight in gold, are now considered as pots of clay, the work of a potter’s hands! Even jackals offer their breasts to nurse their young, but my people have become heartless, like ostriches in the desert.” (Lamentations 4:1-3)
An estimated 90 - 115 people die every day in America because of fatal automobile crashes..... while thousands of babies are killed every day, on purpose, because of people who are “pro-choice”. Does that make any sense? People choose to kill their own babies... to eliminate this country’s own citizens... to murder so many future teachers, doctors, surgeons, builders, engineers, scientists, leaders, etc.? What are people trying to do to themselves and to our society as a whole? If an enemy military burst into the borders of our country today, and killed 4,000 people, what would our response be? What should our response be? Really, where do we stand? At least 4,000 of our own people are killed every day by the citizens of our country. How is it any different?
“Yahshua said, ‘Allow the little children; do not hinder them; and forbid them not to come unto Me: for of such is the Kingdom of heaven.’ ” (Matthew 19:14)
“Yahweh says, ‘Can a mother forget [her] baby... and have no compassion on [her] child...? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands...’ ” (Isaiah 49:15-16)
“I called on Your Name, O Yahweh, from the depths of the [womb]. You heard my plea: ‘Do not close Your ears to my cry for relief.’ You came near when I called You, and You said, ‘Do not fear.’ O Yahweh, You took up my case; You redeemed my life. You have seen, O Yahweh, the wrong done to me. Uphold my cause! You have seen the depth of their vengeance, all their plots against me.” (Lamentations 3:55-60)
